ROFLBOT Pukes Double Rainbows! What Does it Mean?
ROFLBot thinks the internet is so cute he’s puking rainbows! Not just one, but TWO super-intense full-on double rainbows all the way!! What does it mean? Only ROFLBot really knows.
SnakeEyes — Acrylic on Wood w/ Paint Pen
I call this guy SnakeEyes as a tribute to the classic G.I. Joe character. I know that’s not a very roboty name, but sometimes sticking bot on everything is just tough. The reason he’s SnakeEyes is both because of the muted colors and lack of a mouth. I tried out a new technique, drawing a tiny robots, which I doodle a WHOLE lot of, and then blowing it up to trace and paint. That’s why I ended up with such thick lines, the use of a paint pen for the lines contributed to that too. An interesting little sucker he is!
YoBot “Headshot” — Acrylic on Wood
YoBot is posing for his close-up! He is one sexy mofo. I’m trying out a bunch of different color combinations with him, he seems pretty OK with it. This one is 8.5″ x 8.5″ Acrylic on Wood.
Rovechkin “Rovie” — Acrylic on Wood
Here’s our friend Rovechkin! The Russian Machine has a great smile and likes showing it off for his fans. One day I hope Rovechkin & Ovechkin will meet! This one is 8.5″ x 8.5″ Acrylic on Wood.
YoBot “Hai!” – Acrylic on Wood
Painting #2 attempted of a MemeBot. YoBot is lookin’ pretty cute; he just wants to say Hai! This one is 6.5″x6.5″ Acrylic on Wood
YoBot “Yo! Sup?” — Acrylic on Wood
MemeBots like to wave a lot, especially YoBot! He’s all about greetings and being pretty friendly. This version of him is 8.5″x8.5″ Acrylic on Wood. While the original is not for sale, there is a series of 25 high quality giclee prints that are in the works and are soon to be available! YoBot is my first foray into painting MemeBots, but far from the last. In fact, even though I’ve neglected this blog site a bit there’s been a lot of MemeBot progress made! Several paintings, some YoBots stickers, a MemeBots Facebook Page and even a customized Munny. YoBot would really appreciate it if you followed him on Facebook.
ASBOBot Can Do Better Than… 47 Decibels!
ASBOBot was getting her oil checked during the holiday season last year and got complaints from her neighbor that “unnatural” sounds were coming from her home. According to the neighbor “The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it.” Apparently it wasn’t just the neighbors, but also the local postman and a woman taking her child to school that didn’t like what they heard. This led to Anti-Social Behavior Order charges for ASBOBot. The local city council investigated and recorded 47 decibels worth of oil change noises coming from the home, but I think ABSOBot could do better!
